Macintosh Compatibility

The file format used by Quicken 2007 has changed. As a result, the Pocket Quicken conduit has been revised to be able to communicate with Quicken 2007.

If you are using Pocket Quicken 2.03 or earlier, you must upgrade to Pocket Quicken 2.5 in order to use Quicken 2007.

Transaction Matching

Beginning with Quicken 2001, the method by which transactions are accepted into the Quicken register on your desktop was altered when compared to Quicken 99 or 2000. Quicken attempts to match transactions to prevent duplication using a Compare to Register feature. In some cases however, Quicken may match transactions incorrectly.

The Compare to Register feature of Quicken 2007 affects the following:

• Pocket Quicken transactions

• Financial Institution downloads

• QIF imports

• WebEntry transactions

• QuickEntry imported data

• Bank Sync imported data

Please review your Pocket Quicken transactions that have been sent to Quicken 2007 prior to accepting them, ensuring that the Status indicates New.

If the Status of a transaction indicates Match and that transaction does not match a transaction already on the desktop, you can do one of two things:

Note: Quicken 2007 will eliminate any transaction that has a status of Match, in order to prevent a duplicate from being entered into your Quicken register.

As a result, it is important that you review your Pocket Quicken entries carefully and to Unmatch those that are not matching transactions before tapping the or buttons.
